OPTG: an area of radiolucency and radiopacity surrounded by a radiolucent rim is visualized in the region of tooth 48. There is also an overlap of the medial part of the tooth rudiment with the roots of tooth 47.
Diagnosis: dystopia of the rudiment of tooth 48. ICD 10 K01.0
Treatment: under Benzocaine application anesthesia, infiltration and mandibular anesthesia with Articaine 3.4 ml 1:100 000 an incision was made in the retromolar region, the mucosal-periosteal flap was detached, a bone window with a diameter of 7 mm was formed with the help of milling cutters. The cyst 48 was divided into parts and removed. The shell of the cyst surrounding the tooth was removed. The wound was treated with 0.05% chlorhexidine solution. The flap was put in place, fixed with Prolene 5\0 №3 sutures.
Recommended: antibacterial treatment with amoxicillin+clavulanic acid 1000 mg (1 tablet) 2 times a day for 7 days, desensitizing therapy: loratadine 10 mg 2 times a day for 3 days, analgesic: ibuprofen 100 mg 2 times a day for 5 days.
Appearance in 7 days for suture removal.
