MRI findings revealed a diagnosis of complete anterior disc displacement without reduction in the right TMJ.
To assess the condition and determine the treatment strategy, condylography was performed, followed by the initiation of splint therapy. After 1.5 months of splint use, significant improvement was noted: the mouth opening increased to 40 mm, and the intensity of pain was markedly reduced.
Further observation and treatment adjustments are recommended based on the patient’s progress.
