Is this the final stage of orthodontic treatment? No, the child is growing and various factors can both favor and hinder the correct development of the bite.

We will continue with follow-up, check-ups and plan to perform a hermectomy on the lower jaw to prevent crowding of the teeth that has already started.

What is a hermectomy?

It is the removal of wisdom teeth to prevent tooth misalignment and bite abnormalities. At the age of 7-11 years, it is recommended to remove the wisdom teeth at the stage of rudimentary or primary calcification to minimize the risks.
