The treatment plan included the following stages:
– Condylography (TMJ movement records)
– Splint therapy (adaptation to the right position)
– Temporary restorations without tooth preparation (assessment of aesthetic and function)
– Final restorations.
The temporary restorations are installed in one stage as we need to create the function. The utilized material is special flowable composites.
In two weeks, we can carry on with the final restorations. In this case we changed teeth in the following order: posterior teeth side by side, and frontal teeth upper and lower jaws.
If the posterior tooth endodontically treated it is recommended to cover it with the porcelain crown to avoid cracks of the tooth, in other cases we restore it with the porcelain overlays.
As the result the patient feels comfortable due to short term visits.
