– poor marginal fit of the veneers,
– leftover cement from the previous bonding,
– cavities on the contact surfaces of some teeth,
– inflamed gums with bleeding during probing,
– bite imbalance due to lack of anterior and canine guidance.
The patient also reported pain when exposed to cold air or water.
Our treatment plan included several steps:
- Diagnostic evaluation and 3D smile design.
- Removal of the old veneers.
- Placement of temporary veneers with a new, anatomically correct shape.
- Fabrication and bonding of custom permanent veneers.
The result:
After treatment, all symptoms resolved. The sensitivity disappeared, the gums stopped bleeding, and the bite was balanced and comfortable. The patient was very happy with the aesthetic and functional outcome.
