Analysis of the initial situation:
- Extremely distal position of the mandible
- Severe protrusion of the maxillary central incisors
- Gingival hypertrophy in the anterior region of the maxilla
Treatment process:
- Placement of a partial bracket system on the maxilla. As the tooth inclinations normalize and oral hygiene remains insufficient, gingival hypertrophy becomes more noticeable.
After removing the bracket system:
- A removable plate with an inclined plane was installed as a retention appliance to promote the anterior positioning of the mandible.
Final outcome:
- Correct positioning of the mandible
- Conditions created for proper tooth eruption
- The posterior teeth are in correct occlusion, while the lateral group of teeth is in the process of natural eruption.
- Broad smile
- Relaxed lip closure
